About Us

OUR STORY

Church of the Gardens (COTG) was founded in 2015 in Washington State by persons who observed that, among other things, government workers, including judges aligned with money lenders and debt buyers, were engaging in unfair, abusive, and manipulative litigation tactics against debtors, who were being illegally foreclosed upon and evicted to the streets of Washington’s communities.

The mission statement of COTG states with regard to the aforementioned evil:

[…]

4) to minister to and protect those in need such as the hungry, the sick, the poor, the homeless, the indebted, the enslaved, the vulnerable, and all others who are unfairly prevented from exercising their inalienable God-given natural rights;

[…]

11) to engage in activities necessary for the accomplishment of the mission.

12) to oppose all, which by design or through corruption, are inimical to the church’s mission;

A primary goal of the Gardens is to promote justice.
